Political Agendas

Following is a quote from the Dutch-born Catholic priest, Henri Nouwen, that Obama and the rest of his socialist friends should heed:

"Peacemaking must be the primary focus of all political leaders, whether in or out of power. But the temptations to personal power are too intense to be overcome by our insistently self-centered egos... In order to claim peace, we must relinquish our own private agendas and let ourselves be claimed by God"

This administration has obviously made no efforts at keeping the peace among the American people by blatently ignoring our voices and succumbing to 'temptations of personal power...for their self-centered egos and private agendas'.

Health Overhaul Likely to Strain Doctor Shortage

WASHINGTON -- Better beat the crowd and find a doctor.

Primary care physicians already are in short supply in parts of the country, and the landmark health overhaul that will bring them millions more newly insured patients in the next few years promises extra strain.

The new law goes beyond offering coverage to the uninsured, with steps to improve the quality of care for the average person and help keep us well instead of today's seek-care-after-you're-sick culture. To benefit, you'll need a regular health provider.

Yet recently published reports predict a shortfall of roughly 40,000 primary care doctors over the next decade, a field losing out to the better pay, better hours and higher profile of many other specialties...

Scum-Sucking Bottom Feeders

I certainly don't condone any of the 'ALLEDGED' violence against liberals who voted in favor of the health (s)care bill, but I did say the ignorance and disregard these bottom-feeders have of and for the majority of Americans would lead to violence. I'd be willing to bet that some of this is staged by the Democrats.

I do condone all other forms of protest: shout-downs, spittle-flying screaming in faces and massive rallies on the steps of our property in Washington or wherever our representatives who supported this bloated 'Jabba The Hut' bill appear.

Screw You, Congress!

Fallout from the congressional passage of health care:
  • It will be challenged and repealed
  • Mandatory participation is illegal
  • Those who voted in favor of it will be removed from office
If the GOP doesn't capitalize on this atrocity starting now, it's the end of the party as we know it. The Tea Bag Party will take over and water down the Republican voting base, resulting in 4 more years of Obama and the socialists. Sarah Palin said the Tea Bag Party would be a benefit as a third party...wrong! Their ideas are good, but they can't become a third party for the reasons mentioned above. We can't take 4 more years of Obama's plan to ruin America.

Saint vs Sinner

OH MY GOD!! WHAT KIND OF COMPARISON IS THIS?

SAINT

SINNER

I JUST HEARD THAT THERE'S NOW A COMPARISON BETWEEN NANCY PELOSER PELOSI AND MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR BECAUSE OF WHAT PELOSI HAS SUPPOSEDLY ACCOMPLISHED WITH HEALTH (S)CARE. OBAMA HAS PUSHED HER TO THE FOREFRONT IN CASE (AND WHEN) THIS PERVERTED SCAM FAILS. THAT WAY SHE WILL BE THE FALL GUY (GAL? I DON'T THINK YOU CAN CLASSIFY HER AS A GAL).

Twisted

Figured I'd better do a 'wining' article. I've done enough 'whining' for a day or so.

Here's a fairly good Zinfandel for a reasonable price (about $7.99 for 750ml bottle). Has hints of blackberries, oak and cherries. Great with beef or Italian food (also good for just sitting back and sipping). Had some this past weekend; looking forward to some more.

Enough Said

Wanted for destroying The United States of America. Read between the lines.

This Is Revolting!

This is truly the face of arrogance. Whether he's turning up his nose or bowing his head, Obama displays his disdain for those who both did and did not vote for him.

Viewing yesterday's 'reported' disrespect of some elected officials at the Washington, DC rally was a little disturbing (reportedly someone spit at one of the lawmakers coming out of the Capitol), but unless these people start listening to us it will get more personal and violent. This may be a civilized country, but so were many of the dictatorships before they were dictatorships. That's what the U. S. is becoming under King Hussein Obama, and don't think it's not. He has every intention of deciding what's best for us and making everyone dependent on government, not just the ones currently sucking the economy dry by staying on subsistence, welfare, foodstamps and unemployment. Sometimes these programs are necessary, but should never be intended or used as a permanent solution to the 'less fortunate'.

Alcee Hastings has said 'There are no rules, we make them up as we go along (in passing this legislation)'. Well Alcee, I have a feeling the rest of us will be playing by that rule in the next couple of years.

If and when the health care scam is ultimately passed by both houses or forced into law by Osama Obama, there will be a lot of lawsuits. That means we'll all be paying for them; however I'd rather pay (in the short term) for those then pay (in the long term) for Obamacare.

Note From Your Local Democrat Representative: We're Not Interested In Your Opinions!

The Heat is On: Congressman’s Office Says Constituent Calls Are ‘Harassment’by Capitol Confidential

Yesterday, I decided to call Rep. John Garamendi’s (CA-10) office in Washington, D.C. He’s my representative and I wanted to voice my opposition to the Senate Health Care Bill. I spoke with a female staffer and politely told her that, while I support health care reform, I oppose the Senate Bill because it wasn’t true “reform.” She said the Congressman thinks it’s a good bill and that he campaigned on health care reform. I told her I knew that. I also mentioned that I voted for him. When I tried to give her specific reasons why the Senate Bill would harm our system rather than reform it, she refused to listen. She said she was very busy and hung up on me. Being the persistent person that I am, I kept calling back. Each time I tried to finish my point, she hung up.

I called one more time. This time she said, “If you call one more time, we will notify Capital Police.” I asked why my conduct warranted involving federal law enforcement agents. She said I was “harassing” her. I tried to explain that trying to convince a representative to change his or her vote didn’t constitute “harassment.” Before I could fully explain, she hung up again.

I called back. This time, I asked to speak to her supervisor in order to report her repeated hanging up as well as the threat she made. I was placed on hold. Thinking I was holding for her supervisor, I was shocked when a Federal Agent with the Capital Police picked-up the telephone.

At first, the Agent was curt with me. He claimed I was harassing Mr. Garamendi’s staff by continually calling after being told to stop calling. I asked him when it became a federal crime to lobby a congressman. He said that it wasn’t but it was a crime to “harass” congressional members and staff pursuant to 47 U.S.C. 223. I told him I was an attorney (which I am) and that I would research the statute he had cited.

After researching 47 U.S.C. 223, I called Mr. Garamendi’s office again and asked to be transferred back to the Capital Police Agent. The Agent picked up the phone and I explained to him that the statute he cited was not controlling since it only prohibits people from calling with the specific intent to harass. I further explained that I was simply trying to voice my concerns with the intent of getting Mr. Garamendi to change his mind, not to harass his staff. The Agent eventually agreed with my position and said he would call Mr. Garamendi’s office and instruct his staff that I was within my rights to call my congressman and voice my concerns.

After I hung up, I realized that this story should be told. Besides being an attorney, I’ve also had the privilege of serving this great country in the United States Marine Corps. Having seen the ugly legislative process the Senate Bill had been through, I saw this as not just another tactic to pass the Senate Bill at all costs, but also as an affront to our liberties.

While I’m fortunate enough to be able to legally challenge what happened today, others aren’t. The sad part is the democrats know this. They know that Americans unfamiliar with federal jurisprudence can easily be silenced when threats to involve federal agents are made. They know that most Americans don’t want trouble and they’ll go away rather than face the possibility of having to explain themselves to federal agents. That’s why I found this tactic appalling, as a Marine, as an attorney and as a proud American.

During my final contact with Mr. Garamendi’s staff, it was confirmed to me that he would vote for the Senate Bill no matter what. I was told that I was wasting my time by calling. Mr. Garamendi is a junior member of the House of Representatives. He was just elected via a special election last November. He has made it clear that he is willing to forsake his constituents in order to please the Speaker of the House.

Speaker Pelosi has said that she will stop at nothing to get the Senate Bill passed. She publicly stated that she would “pole vault over a wall” if barriers stood in her way. While that may be an amusing spectacle, it is indicative of what happened to me today. Apparently, threatening Americans with federal crimes to silence them is the latest tool in Speaker Pelosi’s dirty bag of tricks.

In the coming days, I’m sure more stories will develop illustrating the “win at all costs” tactics being employed by democrats. It’s these tactics that have appalled a majority of Americans to the point that the Senate Bill has overwhelmingly been rejected by the American people. When we try to explain that to Speaker Pelosi’s Caucus, we are threatened with criminal sanctions. We are told to shut up or face federal agents. Such treatment may be acceptable in the former Soviet Union, but it’s repulsive in the country I love and served. Is this hope and change?

Obama Express Train Wreck

Wreckonciliation: Ram it Through

The GOP health care count:

209 no, 204 yes, 18 undecided (but can be bought)

Master Of Deception

After seeing the Brett Baier (Fox News) interview with Obama I'm waivering between drawing two different conclusions regarding Obama's knowledge of what's really happening:
  1. Obama has no idea what's in this bill. When Brett asked him about the 'special interest' inclusions that are still in it (the bill), Obama side-stepped the question by saying "It will all be laid out for everyone to see in the final draft." As usual, he paused and fumbled his words trying to make things up as he went along...he's very transparent (apparently the only transparency we will ever see besides the fact that he's a socialist) and is no good at ad-libbing.
  2. Obama knows exactly what's in it and is afraid if more details are leaked, his ratings will go down even more. The impression he's leaving is there are even more back room deals in there he doesn't want anyone to see before the bill is passed.
Whatever is going on, it's plain to see that Obama has dug his heels in and is willing to sacrifice America's future for his own legacy.

Hand Over Your House

Interior secretary dismisses 'land grab' memo as early 'brainstorming' (plot to take over America)

By LEDYARD KING • Gannett Washington Bureau • March 10, 2010

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar downplayed (covered up) an internal memo Tuesday suggesting the federal government take over millions of acres in Montana and other Western states, saying his agency is not pursuing any such steps and would seek public input (from liberals) before it did.

"There are no plans that we have to move forward (we're always moving backward)," Salazar told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee Tuesday, describing the memo as a result of an informal dialogue (closed-door meeting)among agency employees.

"There have been no directions from the White House that we move forward on (this). And it obviously is a presidential (dictatorial) exercise of authority ," he said.

Montana Republican Rep. Denny Rehberg and other Western lawmakers began voicing concerns last month when they saw portions of a leaked Interior Department document indicating the Obama administration is exploring whether to protect millions of acres, including deserts, grasslands and mountains, by designating them as national monuments or buying the land from private owners.

Included on the list was a suggestion that the White House designate Montana's Northern Prairie as a national monument (to Obama) and pay about $24 million to purchase private land along the upper Missouri River to benefit the Lewis and Clark Martin Luther King, Jr (this is part of the American history revisionist movement as presented in the Texas Textbook debacle) National Historic Trail.

Rehberg said such a "land grab" would wrest land away from those who want to use it for ranching (George W. Bush cowboy waste of time), recreation (communing with tree frogs), timber harvest (decimating our natural resources for self-gratification) and energy development (pinwheel power). He has introduced a bill that would require congressional approval of new "national monument" designations in Montana, similar to a provision already in place for Wyoming.

"Public input is certainly important, but it's not enough if that input is ignored or comes after a policy has been written or implemented," Rehberg said. "When it comes to executive action, we've already seen this administration shoot first and ask questions later, and now that the sights are on millions of acres in Montana, the responsible action is to reassert congressional oversight."

Sen. Jon Tester (this guy has b-lls), D-Mont., who asked Salazar to explain the memo at Tuesday's hearing, said he too would oppose the takeover of that acreage because "the government has enough land." But he's satisfied that Salazar put the issue to rest Tuesday.

Red comments in parentheses by Eustace
People need to start greeting the government at their doors with the '2nd Ammendment' when things like this happen...either that or knock on Obama's door with it.

He's Smokin'!!

...and I say "Mr. (P)resident, please keep smoking so you won't be around to attempt to run for a second term, let alone to see your grandkids declare bankruptcy."

What a hypocrite! If he does survive after developing lung cancer, we'll all be paying for him, and I'll bet he won't be on the same plan as his subjects.

The New Republic

Open Letter to the American Public:

Quite frankly, I don't care what you people think about health care reform. My focus is on the American public as a whole, not the individual (a-hole). If I had to pay attention to each American citizen I wouldn't be able to get my job done, as divinely bestowed upon me. I answer to a higher authority than the people who voted for me. I believe Allah has chosen me for better things and making health care mandatory for my followers is one of the highest and noblest goals I can think of. I have also decided it is not in my interest to cling to antiquated documents such as The Constitution and Declaration of Independence. These are nothing more than a list of platitudes put forth by the white overseers of the 18th century. They simply don't apply to every day life and are obstacles to my Master Plan for dealing with those who oppose me.

Thank you for understanding me. I look forward to a New Republic of America (NRA).

Yours in Allah,

Barack Hussein Obama

Obama Gets The Pulitzer Peace Prize AND An Olympic Gold Medal

Olympic Committee Takes Back American Skier Lindsey Vonn's Gold Medal

The International Olympic Committee announced Monday that it has taken back the gold medal previously awarded to American skier Lindsey Vonn and given it to U. S. President Barack Obama.

Olympic officials said Obama deserved the medal more than Vonn because no one has ever gone downhill faster than he has.
